Our Mission

The Vaad’s mission is to facilitate and make available kosher food for the public through kosher certification, supervision, education and inspection of caterers, wholesale and retail food vendors, and food production companies in the Greater Kansas City region.

Our Beginnings

The Vaad Hakashruth of Kansas City (the Vaad) is a 501 (c) 3 religious tax-exempt organization, founded in 1994 as a result of a growing need for local kosher services and expertise.
