KC Kosher Co-op, owned locally by Chaim and Katie White, is a local service that distributes 6,000+ kosher products (meat, cheese, baked, canned, etc) - in sealed packaging with common hechsherim (OU, Star K, Circle K, CHK, etc) - to the Jewish community at prices substantially below retail to co-op members in the Kansas City area. Though the Co-op is an excellent resource for a variety of hechshered products, it is not under Vaad supervison.
