Farm to Market Bread Company has released a"Chocolate Cherry Bread" for Valentines Day, it is NOT kosher. They have mislabeled some with the Vaad's hechsher on it. They have corrected the problem, but if you see any in a store please tell the manager they need to cover the Hechsher. Tabatchnick Soup is Meat, Mislabeled as Pareve - January 02, 2012 Tabatchnick Soup Singles New York Style Chicken Broth With Noodles And Vegetables (Tabatchnick Fine Foods, Somerset, NJ) was mistakenly labeled as “KOF-K-Pareve”. The product is in fact certified as “KOF-K-Meat”. Labeling is being corrected by Tabatchnick. If your utensils have been affected, contact Rabbi Szachtel at the “KOF-K” (201-837-0500, ext. 139).
Go Bananas and Cherish My Chocolate Contain Dairy Ingredients, Mislabeled as Pareve - January 02, 2012 Go Bananas Mix Bag and Cherish My Chocolate Mix Bag (Bready North America - Columbia, MO), “OU-D”-certified, contain dairy ingredients, as indicated on the ingredient panel, but are mistakenly labeled with a plain “OU”, not an “OU-D”. Van Dierman Masterbakers bears unauthorized "OK" - January 02, 2012 Van Dierman Masterbakers (The Netherlands) advertises their baked goods as being certified by OK Kosher Certification. OK Kosher Certification does not certify any Van Dierman Masterbakers products. Corrective measures are being taken.
Olive Oil Products in Israel - January 02, 2012 The Chief Rabbinate of Israel has a file of 60 labels of olive oil products that have been mislabeled over the past few years, making false use of kashrus agency logos. This product is dairy and corrective measures were implemented.
White Toque Authentic French Blinis bear Unauthorized OU. - December 02, 2011 White Toque Authentic French Blinis bear an unauthorized OU, are not certified by the Orthodox Union, and do contain dairy ingredients. These were sold in Costco stores in California. The product is being withdrawn from the marketplace.

A limited quantity of Pfeil & Holing Sixlets Pearl Bright Pink & Sixlets Navy Blue (an industrial bakery product of Pfeil & Holing - CakeDeco.com), OU-D-certified, was mistakenly labeled with a plain OU symbol.
Miss Leone's Products bear unauthorized "OU" - September 21, 2011 All Miss Leone's Products, including Mozzarella Cheese Stuffed Olives (Leonard Mountain Inc. - Bixbi, OK) bear an unauthorized “OU”. Miss Leone's products are not certified by the Orthodox Union, some have an unauthorized “OU” symbol and contain non kosher ingredients. Corrective measures are being implemented.
Shechitas Bais Yosef written on pork - September 21, 2011 Shechitas Bais Yosef was written in Hebrew letters on pork and other non-kosher meats being sold at the Associated Supermarket in Sunnyside, NY. The store explained that this was a mistake because of use of a second hand labeling machine which had been used by a kosher store.
Tenderchick Chickens not Kosher for Passover - September 21, 2011 Tenderchick chickens (a product of South Africa), certified by the Beth Din South Africa, bear Pesach clips attached to their wings. These chickens have just been produced, but due to supplier shortages these clips were used. These chickens are not Kosher for Passover.
The Bakery of New York is no longer Pas Yisroel. - July 17, 2011 The Bakery of New York (All Natural Products, LLC., 43-56 10th St, Long Island City, NY), OK-certified, is no longer certified as Pas Yisroel. The products remains certified kosher and pareve when bearing the OK symbol on the packaging.

Posted December 7th 2011 Farm To Market French Baguettes sold in various stores in the KC area bears an unauthorized KcK Pareve symbol on the bag, only those sold at the Leawood Hen House Bakery at 11721 Roe Ave. Leawood, KS 66211 are indeed certified kosher at this point. Costco (123rd & Metcalf) has a large cooler opposite the meat counter filled with beautiful fresh kosher meat from Solomon's at great prices (ground beef, $4.99 lb., rib eye, roast & brisket $8.99 lb., chuck steak & roast $7.99 lb.). In regular coolers a couple of isles to the left, on opposite sides of each other they have Meal Mart stuffed cabbage and Meal Mart pot roast. If they get enough customers they will add kosher chicken and fish!
